With the increasing demand for cloud services at Flow Swiss AG, the repetitive and manual efforts also grew proportionally in recent years. Product and service orders could only be placed via email during business hours and were manually provisioned, configured, and invoiced by Flow Swiss AG staff.

These manual processes hindered Flow Swiss AG from scaling cost-effectively and remaining competitive with further innovations and modern pricing structures.

At the beginning of the project, Flow Swiss AG’s digital strategy was analyzed and refined to ensure long-term competitiveness.

Existing processes and products were critically examined and optimized to develop a strategy-compliant solution. This was followed by an iterative and agile implementation of the modularly designed cloud platform.

Special emphasis was placed on integrating feedback from Flow Swiss AG early in the development process and minimizing the time-to-market for individual modules.

As a result of an interactive development phase, a modern and flexible cloud platform was designed and developed. This enables Flow Swiss AG customers to autonomously provision and bill for all types of managed cloud products and services within seconds.

With the new platform, Flow Swiss AG achieved significant process optimizations and reduced manual workloads, allowing teams to focus on developing new cloud products and services.

Additionally, the integration of cloud products via REST API and CLI added value for end customers, enabling seamless incorporation into existing workflows. The platform continues to evolve through close collaboration with Digio AG.

Digio AG, Flow Swiss AG, and design agency Geyst AG submitted the cloud platform to the Best of Swiss Web Awards 2020.

The project earned two bronze awards among 375 submissions in the “Business” and “Productivity” categories, recognizing its technological and business value.
